3. Stay committed - When there’s no trust between teammates, they focus more on avoiding conflict instead of finding a common ground where they share real opinions and work hard for the company’s vision. During group discussions, clear goals and strategies cannot be brought up. This simply shows that there’s a lack of commitment when it comes to team dynamics. If the leader stays committed to the team’s initiative, then it means that they can create an atmosphere where conflict is welcomed instead of being feared.

4. Reward effort – It’s sad for the part of the employee if their hard work goes unnoticed. Recognizing achievement and effort of an employee will always make them feel like they’re valued. This one should be obvious but other business management simply overlooks the positive effect of appreciation. Some managers would even feel that being too appreciative or becoming too ‘touchy-feely’ could undermine their authority. On the contrary, rewarding employees will motivate them even more and will help build company loyalty during the process.

5. Focus on team effort – There are instances when managers devote most of their energy on ensuring that the team gets off on the right foot, being attentive to ideas, and hosting retreats to enhance solidarity. It’s important to focus on ongoing team dynamics, but it’s also worth noting that members shouldn’t get distracted by the individual activities that could put them off track. Team goals should be regularly realigned and reassessed so that the best results will always be achieved.
